Background: The client University required an appropriate leader for an internationally renowned school, based regionally, internationally and locally. Previous recruitment service providers had failed, and Lois Lange was brought in to tailor a solution. The requirement was for an academic leader with the background and ability to build international industry partnerships, applied research and teaching program delivery innovation.
Solution: An extensive global search was conducted, identifying all specialized and related schools within universities, and the key talent within their leadership. The research data provided the guidance required to select and attract the best candidates from around the world. The shortlist data further showed the high standing and attraction of the University within the academic community. In collaboration with the University’s executive panel Chair, the Consultant was able to develop and negotiate a successful outcome with the preferred candidate, within a rigorous, validated and blended process.
The successful executive brings an international perspective to driving a unique market responsive vision for future growth within a multifaceted multi disciplined environment.
These results are consistent with a number of executive level roles placed for the client organisation.
