Growth continues with our leading national Water Waste Water partners as infrastructure projects lead the way across the country.
Over the coming months Hugo Lang will have a number of opportunities for leaders at the corporate level and project management level with specialist technical knowledge in design, construction, operations and maintenance in water and civil infrastructure works from small to large scale projects.
Projects are likely to be across resources industry developments as well as the utilities and authorities.
Our industry partners are successful in this sector with a strategic growth plan led by quality leaders with depth and breadth in the industry nationally. They are focused on building on this success with an effective succession and career development plan with people who fit the company’s culture of maximizing the potential of their best performers.
We will require primarily Civil and Mechanical engineers with in depth end to end project delivery leadership experience in design and construction, from small to large scale projects. You will need a solution based focus, excellent interpersonal skills for effective negotiations and well developed client relationships, and will likely have participated in alliance leadership teams. You will have financial management skills from bid process, project budget/s across one or more simultaneous projects, and possibly at a business unit budget or P&L management level. We are looking for future leaders with a focus on career development for succession planning on national management teams, therefore a certain mobility will be expected for some positions.
Knowledge and connections within the local (state) market, and/or the national marketplace within Australia is essential.

Lois Lange, Managing Director of Hugo Lang, has become a member of the Petroleum Club of WA.
The PCWA is an industry network and educational resource for the oil and gas sector. It is a membership based organization comprising around 700 members from all aspects of the industry. Monthly dinners and a number of exciting events are conducted each year, such as the upcoming Petroleum Club 2010 Yachting Regatta, as well as industry member sponsored training and development for newcomers to the industry, such as the regular Introduction to the Petroleum Industry Seminars.
Through its Schools Information Program (SIP), the Petroleum Club seeks to include students in the industry from Year 10 through annual research centered Science Competitions focused on the oil and gas industry. The Program is the flagship of the Petroleum Club of WA and is strongly supported by personnel from petroleum operation and contractor companies, who provide a series of classroom presentations to each school – Exploration, Drilling, Production, Transport, Downstream Processing, Sustainable Development.
